Hi Scotty. Im the owner of a 2004 Ford Crown Vic Police interceptor with the 4.6L v8 and automatic transmission. It has 200k miles on it. I just replaced the intake manifold due to the thermostat housing being cracked. It needs new control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, shocks and struts, and hub asemblys on the front end. I can get the parts and do it my self for right around 800 dollars. My question is, is it worth it to do all this work to this car? How long do these older PIs twnd to last? My 89 corolla had 697k miles on it and was still going strong till it was involved in a major accident and this car didnt cost me anything. Am i better off selling this vic and buying another car or doing the intensive mibor repairs it needs?

I don't think you can get any money by selling it and if these are the only issues and it runs and drives fine, fix the car.
