I have an 04` ford expedition 4.6 2v with about 173k miles. I'm looking to get some spark plugs for it but Im having trouble finding the right ones. I've always thought the gap was supposed to be the same as factory, but the suggested plugs go from .40 to .54in. What should I do. Thanks

One option would be to use original equipment Motorcraft® spark plugs and to set them at the gap that's specified on the Vehicle Emission Control Information label under the hood.

Do not worry about it. Just change it with iridium spark plugs although with correct size.
