05 Nissan Pathfinder shaky rear end

Hi Scotty,

 

bought a 05 pathfinder 315,000km I have a creaky sound and vibration felt in the rear when driving in rwd.

 

I've replaced u joints so far but wasn’t sure where else to Check

Check the shocks and any suspension bushings for where

Thanks, also forgot to mention that there’s a vibration felt through steering wheel. 

I have gotten tires balanced as well 


If your steering shakes, it could also mean that the front brake pads are worn out or the rotors are warped.
Given the car's age, it could also mean that the steering fluid is old and needs a change.

Those were more prone to u joints in the front driveshaft than the rear so make sure those are good as well if they weren’t changed
