Hi Scotty, I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is leaking oil everywhere has no A/C and only has one radio speaker working in the back. Also the brake lights don't function properly. It once overheated and broke down in the middle of a traffic jam. It has 110,000 miles. I am contemplating trading it in for a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis with 62,000 miles. Asking price for the Mercury is a little under five thousand. What are your thoughts scotty? Thanks
I suppose I will have to negotiate the price a little. Its being sold by a ford dealer. It was a video of scotty's that made me think of a Grand Marquis, he says they can last a very long time. More than likely a former owner was elderly. Scotty mentions said that they're often called "grandpa cars".
I would trade that Jeep in in a heartbeat and those Marquis can run a really long time and are solid built cars. but I would pay 5k for it being that old.
