Hi Scotty.I have an 06 STS automatic with about 118xxx miles on it. It's a V6. The problem I'm having is no power steering. When this happens there are 3 lights that are always on. Parking brake light, abs light and traction control light. This happens on and off. Sometimes it drives perfect, no lights and steering is powered but most times it doesn't. I took it to mechanic about a year ago. They replaced the power steering pump and a wire harness by the battery somewhere. It drove ok for about 8 months. $1300 later I'm back to same problem. Your expert advice would be appreciated.
Well I would start by taking it back to the guy who did that $1,800 worth of work or place in the pump and wiring harness they could easily have put up the effect of electric pump on it
I've actually moved out of state after I had it done. So that's not possible. I have to start from from beginning. Are you able to recommend anything else?
