I've been noticing, when I leave my turn signal on for a a minute or two, it'll slow down then speed up. What's the cause for this? Is there anything easy I can do to fix it?

First have your battery low tested and also your alternator low ones can do that but if not that it often means the turn signal flasher is starting to wear out

Not sure about Hyundai but a Ford "turn signal rapid flash" means a bad light bulb somewhere. Might help to turn all lights on and look for a burned out bulb.
I did not even drive by a Holiday Inn but I had turn signal rapid flash.
