2008 Chevrolet Impala
Speedometer jumping around when coming to a stop. Speed limited to 107 and then it shuts off. This only happens in drive/reverse. I've replaced the speed sensor and cleaned the MAS.
What could cause the car to shut off like that?

it's called a governor, and you shouldn't be going 100mph. Not only is it illegal, but your tires will blow out.

bad gauge or ground/wiring fault.
