09 Colorado Temp Gauge

  1. Recently purchased an 09 Colorado in  great shape, only issue I’ve run into is sometimes the temperature gauge on the dash just doesn’t work. Just sits at the default like when the car is off. This has happened twice now, both times also happened to be the only two instances I’ve turned on the AC. Not sure if this is related, but two evap codes came back “not ready” like the battery had been disconnected recently, although I’ve put over 100 miles on it since purchased so that shouldn’t be the case. Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

there's a problem with the temperature sensor . Check the wiring and replace sensor as needed.
