Hey Scotty love your Chanel,
i have a 09 Honda Accord with 142,000 miles . I recently realized that when the car is in park and I have it in idle . The car makes a ticking sound . Don’t know of u should worried about it or take in to a mechanic?

Valve clatter is likely. Have the valves ever been adjusted?
No i haven’t
There's your answer. Honda engines use old-school mechanical valve actuators that require periodic adjustment to compensate for wear.
