Both Ford and Chevy have 1.5 turbo engines in then. Are the both junk? Will they last.

I think that most people feel...even Scotty here does as well.....the 4 bangers work too hard and are not sturdy enough to take the added pressure of turbos. When the turbo goes out it becomes a immense payout to fix it. In the end you would be better off with natutally aspirated V6 or V8 which would last much longer. BUT..some will think otherwise and love their 4 banger turbos.
You would have to do some of your own research and then formulate an opinion.

The Ford 1.5's have a lot of head gasket failures.
