Been looking to buy a 1977 toyota corolla with the 3k 1.2 litre 4 cylinder. It is a manual. Assuming it doesn't have any major problems is it a good buy? price is 25 million rupiah (1,768 USD).

Man, that’s an old car! But, it’s still a Toyota. If your local bengkel checks it out, and gives you the green light, and you can find parts for it, it may be a good idea. However, 25 million for it is ridiculous. It isn’t a collector’s item. You can find much newer cars for the same price in Jakarta.
Whereabouts in Indonesia are you? Is that your only choice for 25 million?
I still think it’s terlalu mahal!

make sure to do inspection if its flooded, no leaks, no rust, if its oil burner etc otherwise its very good
