I just changed the fuel pump canister on my 83 z28 today and i started it up, ran fine but now theres fuel pouring out of the bottom of the charcoal canister, did i mix up the lines on the fuel pump housing?

Sounds like that is exactly what happened. You're going to need to replace the canister with a new one as well.
Cool thanks more in likely im gonna swap the two lines places then clear the lines, and completely delete the charcoal canister from my car

Sounds like it. And now your charcoal evap canister is a paperweight to more than likely. Take it off pour the gas out. Check the lines and let the canister dry out.
