My mom owns a 2014 Honda CRV LX with 50K kilometres. When I first started a car, the RPM went up to 1500. I drove it to the grocery store and when I started the car again after shopping. RPM was at 1200 and didn't drop below 1000.
Is this a serious problem?

Not really but to fix it you can easily do my video make your car run better with a little spray cleaner
