I recently got ownership of my late brother's 1983 Mercury Cougar, and I have been looking everywhere for a place that I can trust to take it to restore it to the way it used to be. My question is this Scotty, where would you recommend taking it to get it restored, and do you know how long it would take? I know that the battery is dead, the alternator is out, the tires need to be replaced, and the interior needs to be redone. The vehicle used to belong to my Grandfather who passed away in 2016, and was given to my older brother who passed away in 2021. This car has tremendous sentimental value for me, my sister and my parents. Though I must admit, I was always a fan of the DeLorean, but I would rather never get a DeLorean in my lifetime, and put the money I would have used to purchase a DeLorean and put it into the Mercury Cougar.
