Scotty,

I own a 2005 Pontiac goat naturally aspirated. While needing to go overseas (due to military service) my clutch went out so I stored it for 5 years without running it.  I know it was a bad call but for about 3K I got it back in running condition. However, I feel as It is now lacking power. The starter, clutch, spark plugs and cables, and a fuel pump were replaced. The car starts beautifully but when I floor it feels weak, not like a true LS2. I do have an engine light code of catalytic converter but after googling the code, it could be an air flow sensor being bad. Any tips on what things I should look for to get my goat bleating again like a true muscle car? I do have other issues buy I'll wait for your advice first.

By the way, you rock!

Airborne all the way!! (Even though I'm an Army retired leg)

Hooah!!

I'd be looking at an air filter and fuel filter.  If it has MAP and MAF sensors, they need a good cleaning.  The EGR valve can be problematic on these cars.  Make sure the vacuum line is in good shape and tightly connected.  If dirty, clean or replace the EGR valve.  And thank you very much for your service to our country.
