Scotty, I inhereted a 1985 RX7 with roughly 500 miles on it. My father in-law bought it and pretty much garaged it.
The car hasn't been started in a long time.
The car looks great and has been garage kept the whole time.

Wow, consider yourself lucky to get one in that condition! I am a big fan of rotary engines because of the amount of power they put out with such a simplistic design and small size. Mazda was well-known for their rotary engines at the time, especially the RX7. Now here in California (don't know where you live), I've seen some go for like $25k WITH around 5k miles on it. So maybe yours is in the $25k-30k ballpark.
But in my very honest opinion, you should keep that car! It's a nice classic collectible, especially since there aren't that many out there too.
