I am looking into getting an 85 4runner or pickup with a 22re, but prices are crazy right now in my area. Do you see the market coming down on these in the future? If so, how long do you think before prices return to normal? Another thing I was wondering is what you need to be careful about when buying one of these vehicles. I live in California so I hope rust will not be as much of an issue.

Yes wait as long as possible because with the coronavirus people have gone insane with prices if you don't absolutely have to buy one now wait

The 22R and 22RE engines can blow the head gaskets if you let them over heat. Pay particular attention to the temperature gauge.
