Hey Scotty,
What are your thoughts on a 1989 Toyota Cressida? I see one for sale for $3,200 with 167,000 miles. I'm worried that it will get harder and harder to buy parts for such an older car, but I also hear it's a reliable car. I would like to get something nice for my mom, who didn't know about Toyota and bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze that she's having to dump money on more frequently.

Thanks!
Too old for a daily driver and too much money as well. Get a Camry instead.
Good cars. But you are right, I can’t imagine getting parts. I would buy it as a hobby, but not a driver.
Yes, this would be her daily driver. I should have added that to the original post. Thanks for your reply.
Parts are available everywhere: Autozone, O'Reilly's, Carquest, Rock Auto, Parts Geek and a hundred other places. They made millions of these vehicles, parts are available.
Too much money for a 32yr old high mileage vehicle, in my opinion.
Those cars were industructable. I would snap it up.
I don't think I would put my mom in a 32 yo car.
