I’m currently looking to purchase a 1993 325is for 4,500$ that has 48,000 original miles is it a good price?

People who love BMWs say the ones from the 90's are the ones to buy, but any 27 year old car will need to be carefully evaluated - age alone could result in a lot of repairs being needed.
How much money have you got set aside for repairs and replacements of the rubber bits, like the bushings in the suspension?
Are you on a first-name basis with a BMW mechanic? (If not, you soon will need to be).
