I have a 1993 GMC gift from my father truck has about a hundred and thirty thousand miles on it the previous owner dropped a rebuilt V8 into it which has less miles AC seems like maybe it just needs to charge it has a 5-speed which I never driven stick before but it's nice to know how to now I seen your most recent video with a 1994 Chevy so my question is this is it worth getting things fixed on my truck is it going to last me 10 years or is it going to Last one I'm in predicament because the wife doesn't want it at the house but if I can show that it's a Workhorse and that is useful I at least have an argue thank you all for the look any information will be helpful

Fix It. I can do the whole drive train, interior, and paint for 10-12K, probably less, and that thing will last 20-30 years without breathing hard. You'll never find a used truck for that money that will last that long. Been there, done it. Well-built truck, easy to work on.
It depends on how much money you need to spend to make the car ok to run.
On the other hand, these are old GMs and they are good built trucks and you paid nothing for it. So, just evaluate how much you need to spend on the truck and then see what can you buy with that money instead. It is unlikely that you can get a good truck with the money you need to spend on the truck, but it all depends on the status of the truck. Good luck.

The thing runs it just looks bad and the AC doesn't work so the wife never wants to hop on in but you are 100% right even if I were to buy like a Ford Ranger still looking at $30,000
My own take first and foremost is RUST and ROT. If the truck has little to none, go for it.
