93 Mercedes 300e 110k miles. very clean. Seller asking 1500$ seller says needs lifter work. Loud lifter ticking. Worth a shot buying? Very clean!

The parts and repair costs for these car are high. I don't think it is wise to buy it.

You sound like me. Love the older Benzs but when you start looking at the part cost and the potential issue causing the lifter issue, its probably an upper engine oiling issue. Sounds like it could get ugly when you dig in.
