Great running 6cyl. Maintained. Oil changed every 3000. 133,000 current miles. Bought it new. Every so often I go to start it up and it starts and then dies, about 4 times in a row. Then on the 4th or 5th try it starts and does fine for weeks. No check engine lights. Ideas?

measure your fuel pressure. On such an old vehicle I would suspect failed pump or clogged filter.
