I have a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis and every once in a while when i start it, the engine turns over but won't start. I noticed that when I turn the key, I could hear the fuel pump turning on (priming) but sometimes it doesn't. That's when the engine doesn't turn over. I've replaced the crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs and fuel pump relay. Still does not fix the problem. Is it the fuel pump? The car never has a problem while its running. Only while starting. Please help. Thanks.
