HEY!!! What's up everyone?!
So, I'm back.

2006 F350 6.0L Diesel-Powerstroke, 4x4, automatic, 100k miles

Codes: P0000, the other codes are for LOW VOLTAGE CYLINDER 1 & 3

It cranks for a really long time now. I pump the gas while smashing the key forward and it usually start. But it's been taking more and more time.

I haven't pulled the batteries...yet!  It's also been like 25-35 degrees F* lately.

It's dead right now because I cranked it too long. Just started doing that this week.

I have some ideas but I'd love to hear your's. No modifications that I know of ....like after market stuff.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated, or if you need any additional info.

THANKS-STEVE

Ficm module is probably bad. It gives low voltage when it goes bad. They go bad all the time on those things. Just pray there isn't some kind of wiring short to keep shorting the thing out. Those 48 volt systems often do have problems

Thanks Scotty I appreciate that! I'm leaning more towards the FICM. I got new batts in it and replaced the alternator. Now its overheating...the resevoir cap was loose. and i have no power over 60 miles per hour. I can just pour more coolant in it if its low? ill replace the FICM too. It over heats but QUICKLY comes down in temperature once i slow from 60 mph...

2006 f350 4x4 6.0 L automatic.

looking to get a new FICM. thought about replacing just the power board....bad idea?

and i see two options one with voltage in the 50s at 100$ additional dollars than the 48v FICM.

should i just grab a brand new FICM.....and if so which one?
