Howdy Scotty my 4x4 97 4Runner Limited with 300,xxx miles no codes 3.4L has an unusually long crank time I feel for a v6 it has the same unusual long crank time for every start up hot or cold I am wondering if this is a issue or ? It’s always started like this all 4 years of ownership. I did have the timing done a year or 2 back and still no change in crank time. Just curious if this is an issue to address or is it due to the high mileage?!?! It runs super smooth for the amount of mileage, in fact if one were blind folded and put in the driver seat it would genuinely be hard to tell if it’s a new 3.4 or an older one(Super Smooth); beside the long crank time 😅
Okay it has an awful lot of mileage on it. Odds are and the fuel injectors aren't spraying enough gas. So buy some ATS fuel injector cleaner for my friend Bernie. Just Google Bernie Albuquerque ATS fuel injection cleaner. You put a can of that in and drive it. You'll probably find it gets better.
@scottykilmer Thank You Scotty will do
