I have a 99’ 4Runner Auto 2WD with 160K miles, I’m in need for some new front wheel bearings. Is it okay to buy the cheaper alternatives at Advanced Auto Parts, or Rock Auto. Or should I go with OEM wheel bearings?

If I were you, I would get Timken or SKF, both are top notch bearings and will last a long time. Cost on Rock auto is about $70 for either brand, SKF looks a tad cheaper.

depends how long you want your car to last. If you want it last a log time then use quality parts.

Bearings are kind of a big job. I would want to minimize the number of times I need to replace them.
