I tested the starter on a 2000 Chevy Impala but now it won't start. I tested and verified it was dead charged the battery now it won't start. What do I need to do in order to get it started?

I don't understand. I thought my question was clear and concise? It's a 3.4 L. I'm just trying to help a struggling friend. Here's a photo of the connections. I thought I had everything connected right.

You need to go through a process of elimination. The power goes through a relay instead of all of the electricity being fed directly by the rotated key to save potential flame sources on the inside of the firewall. The ignition switch powers the relay, which then runs from the battery to the starter when it's tripped. You need a multimeter to check these things individually.
