Hi Scotty
I have 2000 Honda Accord EX 3.0 6 cylinder Automatic with 225000 miles the car runs great during the winter or cold months the car doesn't burn gas or oil
During warm temperatures the cars initial start, with A cool engine the car starts up fine and runs great no signs of any issues no check engine light just running smooth as a whistle.
Then you stop the car then you attempt to start the car if your lucky it will start and miss fire and kind of chug along until your able slowly get some speed up and then in few minutes it running with no problems. Most of time I'll have to put the car in neutral start it and then give it the gas and drop it into drive which I hate to do. If I keep doing that I won't have transmission.
Initially I thought maybe it was coil or spark plug issue so I replaced all of the coils and replaced the plugs with bosch plugs. I then moved on to replacing EGR and Map Sensor I also replaced the gas cap. I finally got a code reader and found I had a P1457 EVAP control system leakage and P1399 Misfire in any cyclinder. I replaced the Evap canister and solenoid with no luck. The car has the original fuel pump I'm thinking this might be the the next step but not sure. This a great car other then this issue maybe I should only drive it in the winter lol.

It seems that fuel injectors are not working properly. Use some injector cleanses and pray it helps.
I have had the injectors cleaned before and didn't provide any help. Just wondering if the injectors are bad wouldn't I have starting issues all the time? This only happens if the engine temp is warm and only on warm days just asking I really don't know.
When the engine is cold, it needs more fuel so if the injectors are leaking, there is no issue, but when engine is warmed up, it needs much less fuel to run and in the case of leaky injectors, it leads to a rough running engine due to flooding.
Your car has 225k miles. it might be a good idea that change the injectors in your case.
On my 1999 Honda Accord.
When my Accord wouldn’t start, these were the two major culprits on two separate occasions.
1) Relay underneath the steering column. I am 99% sure it was a starter relay.
2) Something on the fuel pump, where the whole fuel pump needed to be replaced. It was something electrical, but cheaper just to replace the whole thing.
There were two other instances for me which I do not think is the cause of yours, but just in case:
Loose battery terminals.
Starter.
