Have the battery tested, in particular, for SOH (State of Health). That measure goes to how many "good cells" able to retain a charge, remain in any given battery. If you live in the South or the Southwest, batteries do not last more than three years, on average. They can go a bit further in the Snow Belt. (Heat speeds up the discharge cycles, which shortens battery life, hence the shorter life in the South and Southwest).

I use an TopDon ArtiBattery 101, and I have found it to be accurate enough. (It's in Scotty's Amazon store). It measures both the SOH and the voltage on the battery. It also measures whether the alternator is charging the battery, and passes or fails as a working alternator. So, you can check these DIY-style.

Thank you and I’ll try it and I live in pa and got the car from New jersey

how many volts is "bad" and "good". are we supposed to guess?

If you know cars you know anything under 13v is considered bad anything above that is good I also have a app and a battery reader that plug in the cigarette lighter so if you don’t have any Solutions don’t say anything thank you by you’re dismissed you probably don’t even know what tire pressure your car should be on

I do know about cars, and I also know that voltage can sometimes go below 13V and it's normal. I was just trying to find out more troubleshooting details. The first thing any mechanic would do in this situation is determine voltage. But since you're so smart, and more interested in insulting those trying to help ... good luck. (in life. You'll need it)

I suggest you read the forum rules, before you go any further. Especially rule #1.

Did you load test the battery and alternator? How old is the battery?

Has the battery tested and it’s good was installed in 2019 and the alternator has not been tested but I don’t trust the car shops around me they don’t do what I ask for when I want something they’ll just say it’s alright but it’s a 21 yrs old car got two new tires and one go’s low in air after a couple of days I love the car I’ll just probably take it to Scotty I think it’ll make a great video

If your battery is newish, I’d focus next on your alternator. Especially if you’re still on the original 21yr old alternator.

Okay thank you I don’t think it’s that though cause I live 2hrs from philly and back and it was fine didn’t have to call AAA so I think it’s good other wise the car would die on the way there I’ll probably try and contact Scotty and take it up to Rhode Island while he’s over here in the north East Coast
