introduction:

(Hey Scotty! Love your channel, I've been subscribed for almost 4 years now! I wanted to ask about the 2001 Concorde LXi, which I know all about Chryslers and their history, but my Mother needed a vehicle and I checked everything on the vehicle, the only downside to the car is that it has 147K miles now, 140K when she first bought it. It's really clean though and was only $1600. There isn't any issues with the vehicle..yet)

Main question:

I've never really put much research into Chrysler because I dislike them, but the engine the Concorde LXi has is a 3.2l SOHC V6 which was engine upgrade over the 2.7l V6. I don't know anything about the 3.2l V6 and can't find that much information, so I was wondering if you knew anything about them and if you know of any issues and when/how they can happen. I doubt anyone could give me accurate, direct information about this other than you, Scotty. Thanks!

It is just as bad as any other Chrysler product.

Going on Wikipedia and then carcomplaints, we see you got lucky by not getting a 2.7 Concordia/Intrepid

They are not good cars and among the worst ones out there but you managed to avoid the oil sludge issues plaguing 2.7 Chrysler engines.
