I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX with 227k miles on the odometer and about 120k on the engine as it was replaced. There’s an oil leak and I’m certain it’s coming from either the rear main seal or the oil pan gasket, both of which I have replacements for. I’ve seen the video about putting the sealant into the transmission and I was wondering if it’s worth it to do all that work it would take. Thanks Scotty!

I would determine which gasket it is. The oil pan is easy compare to the rear main. If it's not dripping then I would just leave it.

How much would it cost to fix? But it depends on what it is, (insert what mountainmanjoe said).
