Hi Scotty and Team!
Thanks for answering all my questions. It's so helpful!
I have a 2001 honda civic with 170,000km on the odometer. It generally runs well, but I have problems with it stalling sometimes when it is running half a day. The idle drops down so low to the point of it stalling. So I have to Rev it to keep it running. If it does stall or if I turn it off, it won't start anymore. But if you let it rest for half an hour, it will start up again. What's going on? There are no check engine lights, but there is a DTC PO270. I don't know if it is related to the stalling. There is a slight engine leak, but we add more oil to keep it topped up. Also, the air filter is new. The ATF is also new.
well since it happens when it warms up my advice is have the valves adjusted on the engine Honda engines are very particular and their valves need adjusting I'm like most other cars today that use hydraulic lifters that you never have to touch
Your engine is running reach. Scotty has a video on this topic. Clean the injectors Most likely it resolve the issue.
