I have a 2001 Tahoe LS with 289K miles with the 5.3 Vortec engine. When driving it makes whirling noise like a fan clutch and when driving long distances the AC fades in cooling. It cools great at start up but does not cool later on. The AC freon pressure check is normal. Would the Fan Clutch be a factor not allow enough cooling of the coils?
Original Fan Clutch, Original Water Pump.
