2001 Toyota 4runner sr5 252k miles not yet sanned
hey scotty i have a 2001 4runner i just bought, on a cold start i hear a sound it usually only happens when the temp gauge is cold and hasn't warmed up yet but it has gotten progressively worse and i want to catch it before damage can be done because this is my dream car:)
Sounds are hard for us to help you with because we can't hear them and cars can make a lot of different noises. Get under the hood after you start it and try to figure out where the noise is coming from
Okay, I started it up just the battery and it made the sound. It sounded like it was coming from the abs module or pump and I do know that the abs system has been worked on before. Also I could feel the vibration of the sound in the brake pedal.
