2002 ford escape, power steering hose replacement, at the bracket end behind engine, where end of hoses connect to housing, when the aluminum end of hose is detached from hose on removal, how do you remove the end piece from housing without damaging housing??

Well they didn't give a crap when they design those things they don't make them to fix. Now the ones that I did a lot of times I would just cut the bracket off and then I'd figure another way to break it on using clamps or welding a bracket piece back on. They really don't make those things to work on. And the bracket really isn't all that important. If you get the ends on tied, I've often left brackets off and such situations. But of course you can always just cut it off and buy another bracket if you want
