2002 Ford Expedition 325000 miles
After having the head gasket and exhaust gaskets replaced, my gas pedal sticks. Mechanic said he cleaned the cable because of the amount of crud on it. I think he wiped off some sort of lubricant. How can I fix this? I am no longer live near that mechanic so I can't take it back to him.

well clean the throttle with throttle spray cleaner cuz sometimes those stick and you can go to any motorcycle shop and get a can of cable lube and lube the cable
