2002 ford svt oil, changed via a Technical Service Bulletin from the manufacturer

234k 6spd. fixing her up, running good, changed oil syn mobile one 4k ago, but during last few months a lot of work, heat, fans, a hose changed & a couple 1200 mile round trip runs on it. well any way was going to change the oil today and saw this below. car has a lot of miles, mostly run on the same synthetic 5W-30 it's whole life. is it so? even if it is so. would you change it up scotty after all these years & miles ?

Viscosity: 5W-20 (All TEMPS)
This specification has been updated from 5W-30 to 5W-20 per a Technical Service Bulletin from the manufacturer 5W-20 is the preferred viscosity.
