I have a 2002 Lexus ES 300 I that I got from my cousin girl friend about a year ago, and I had gotten a transmission leak on the driver side axel seal. So I had and got it look at and they said that in had to do with a bushing that was inside the transmission and I was like, I’ll just keep putting transmission fluid in so that it doesn’t run dry and then the leak stop and now I way over filled and even time I’m at a stop my car RPM will jump about 500 or a little more and I wouldn’t even more. Does my transmission fluid needs to be change and put some like Lucas thick gear oil in there or do I get a new transmission or sell it. I really need help

I would say empty the fluid until it's just at the right level and then sell it when they get worn internally like that it's time to say goodbye
