2002 Mercury Cougar SVT V6 5 speed manual for $2200 from private party with 145k miles no CELs and in good condition. New clutch with receipts. Good deal? Thoughts on the 2.5L duratech v6 and overall reliability? How about repair costs and common problems? Looking for all the info I can get. Heard they were well received cars in UK but flopped in the US but could still be an amazing car. P.S. This vehicle would be commuting 50 miles round trip every few days as a fun alternative to my regular commuter.
Yeah they never made it big in the United States realize that is a Yamaha designed engine I believe and they are well made it's just that they were a pain to get parts for in the United States and Americans really like the V8 engines instead
