Scotty: I am looking for the Oil Sending Unit for a 2002 Toyota Camry. I am installing a Oil Bypass system from Amsoil and it is recommended that I get the Oil for the filter from the sending unit or else another sending unit on the car.
I already have another type of filter installed but it is getting and sending it's oil back to an adapter at the regular oil filter. There is always a tiny (very small) leak from the adapter. Also, I wish to send the oil back directly to the oil pan.
Also, while you are at it I need to know where the Oil Sending Unit is on a 2004 Lexus RX 330 for the same reason.
One last question, are you from TN? (We have a home in Western N Georgia just below Chattanooga TN is why I ask)
Take care

Yeah I'm in Clarksville Tennessee.but personally I would not even try to do what you are doing because Toyota's are pretty much perfectly engineered and if you start messing with how the lubrication systems work you could end up destroying the engine from lack of lubrication by changing the flow of the oil
