Hi, Scotty. If the mileage checks out and mechanic says it looks good, are these good trucks, and anything else I need to look out for with these? The seller wants for $4,300 for it; good deal?

I think he wants too much money, and I don't think 4-bangers belong in a pickup truck,

S10s are great trucks. Respect it for the size of engine it has...which at that mileage should be trouble free for a long time. Parts are cheap and plentiful.
Have the mechanic closely check the frame rails near the lower control arm mounts, just behind the cab, and by the rear spring hangers. Those areas can be problematic for a truck living in road salt areas.
I don't see the price as being unreasonable considering the price of full size and much newer trucks.
