2003 Explorer Window motor replacement

Hello car mech experts!

I have a 03 Explorer, and BOTH rear window motors are bad.  I can get them to move if I tap it with a hammer, but always after one day of this percussive maintenance it stop again.  I'm very confident the motor is has just reached end of life on the internal electrical contacts.

I'm looking on Rock Auto, and see that I can buy just the motor for like $38 bucks each...  But I can buy the window regulator and motor for ~ $40-60 (I don't think these aftermarket ones would last as long as the factory one right?).

Would you just replace the motor?  Or get the whole assembly?  I imagine the factory regulator is in good shape though as it's only got 50k miles and sat in a garage most of its life.  But I'm not sure what the experts would advise.

Thanks in Advance!

Buy the whole assembly.

Keep the old regulators as backup.
