I have 2007 Ford explorer.,8 cyl..,140,000
I have replaced alternator 3 times in the past year. After last one replaced, the battery light comes on every 20 minutes of driving,I hit reset on dashboard and it goes out. Obd monitoring the battery it usually fluctuates between 14.4 and 14.6 while driving, every now and then I will see it hit 15.1..previous owner installed 3rd party viper security system and parrot blue tooth....is this a parasitic draw or do I need to find loose wires or ground

get your battery tested. It could be killing your alternators.
