2003 Impala 3400 Starting Issues and Poor Idle

Scotty,

I am the original owner of an extremely clean and well maintained 2003 Impala, 3400, 126,000 miles, Automatic

No Codes are coming up.

For at least half it's life it seemed to start too quick with barely any crank. Sometimes it just didn't seem to start correctly but seemed to run ok. I changed the Crank and Cam Sensor and spark Plugs without any difference. Left it as it was.

After about 100,000 miles it showed occasional starting issues and after restart was ok.

Since then there was an occasional stall and within the last 10,000 miles I've been having long crank before start, shortly after the car was running. Typically a quick start when cold after sitting overnight. Idle is a little rough.

The following has been recently changed: Mass Air Flow Sensor, Manifold Air Temp Sensor, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator, EGR Valve, Coolant Temp Sensor.

The connection/contacts to the Computer is clean and tight.

I've ordered a Purge Valve Solenoid, Vent Valve Solenoid and Ignition Wires. Going to check the Idle Air Control Valve.

Not sure if I have a leaking Injector or Injectors or faulty injectors. I did a fuel pressure test but could not get accurate results.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Smoke check for vacuum leak. Probably intake manifold leak.

@heyinway
Wouldn't a vacuum leak create problem all the time initial start/restart and cold vs hot?
