Good evening, just got a 04 nissan murano (first car) noticed when I’m driving there’s a rattling noise, it sounds like when the a chain doesn’t grab on the gear. (Not sure if I'm explaining myself lol.) any ideas as what it might be? took it to a mechanic but he didn't tell me what it was. (Guess he was too busy) please help.

You could make a YouTube video and post the link here and I'll watch it now rattling on those is often the catalytic converter breaking typical on poorly made Nissan's. If you go under the car when it's cold and tap the catalytic converter with a rubber hammer and it rattles that's it
