2004 Toyota Camry 2.4L XLE 2AZFE engine with 137,001 miles. I replaced the resonator pipe and muffler due to cracks in the old exhaust system. A few days later with no issues I got gas at Costco and once I started driving the check engine light went on. I scanned for the code and the P0136 came up. I went to my auto shop and talked to my friend who informed me about the quality of the gas I used. He told me to fill up with the premium (93) and let it run down to see if the light goes off. I filled up with the 93 and ran it about 200 miles and the light went off!
I hope that's all it is but I won't ever get Costco gas again. Any thoughts on this topic?
Scotty has mentioned similar story in his videos. Someone had a CEL for years. Once he refilled the tank at a different gas station and CEL dissapeared
