Hey there. I have a 2004 Toyota Camry with 154k miles. It has an automatic transmission. Personally, I don't think a transmission fluid change was ever done.
I was wondering if I should do a transmission flush on the vehicle. The fluid does smell kind of burnt. I have a transmission filter kit coming in so I can do a flush or a drain and fill.
Kindly advise. Thanks.

If I owned this car in this situation, I would do a full fluid exchange, plus filter.
The car is 16 years old and Toyota’s have a 5 % failure rate after changing.
The critics will be coming out in full force, but ultimately it’s your choice.
