My wife and I just recently picked up a used 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500, 165k miles, Automatic, no engine light. It drove just fine for hours after we got it however when we got back into town that night, it would stall when trying to turn in any direction at a slow speed, even slowing down as much to a stop can almost cause it to stall. Alternator is fine, battery is fine so I’m not sure what else to do or check.

The symptoms do suggest an electrical system problem with alternator not putting out enough with the engine at low speed. Start by scanning for codes and live data, maybe record data while the problem happens and check system voltage and other parameters for trouble.
