Hi Scotty I’m tryna figure out my situation my trailblazer started making a high pitch noise from the rear end I wanna believe it’s the fuel pump making the noise. It has gotten quieter after I filled the tank but still got a whine/high pitch noise when you bring your ear to the back right tire. Should I be worried about a breakdown and what steps would you suggest to take first thanks Scotty ✅ I love this car and plan to use it long term

The first thing to do, hook up a fuel pressure gauge inside the engine.
if the pressure is weak, it’s possible the pump is weak.

stick your ear right on the gas tank just to make sure it really is the fuel pump. If it starts and drives fine, then keep going, but I would research where I could pick up a new pump quickly for when it does finally give up. For your vehicle, I would buy only OEM.
