- I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS with 50,000 miles. Sometimes when I am driving the car the motor will cut off and back on as if it’s losing communication then the check engine light will go on and off no codes are stored also at idle the rpm’s will drop low then high

Well unfortunately many things could do that, but first check the ignition switch a faulty ignition switch will shut power off and do weird things. Pray it's that simple. And the ignition switch going bad will not trip and he codes on that thing
